Burnt Out Records is pupil run record label and live music agency based near Edinburgh, Scotland and have been operating since 2007. Our aim is to bring a large variety of music to the community and provide local artists with a platform to perform, alongside working with professional musicians. We regularly arrange gigs for artists from within our school and from the community and hold them in our venue – The Music Hub.

A diverse range of artists have performed at our gigs: Blue Rose Code, Sophie Bancroft, Nina Nesbitt, James Grant, Emily Burns, Zoë Bestel, No Quarter, The Funktones and many more.

We have 5 artists signed to the label from the school; Meredith Homewood, Hannah Connel, Ailsa Blott, The Bees (Grace and Ruby), Eve Bennett, Miriam Salter and Erin Smith performing as a band and finally Anna Fergusson. Whilst our artists support the acts who come to perform they also record their own material.
